Perimeter Protection
A perimeter alarm system secures the perimeter of your home or premises i.e. sensors are placed on all external doors and on all accessible windows. In addition, 2 (or more) motion detectors are placed in strategic positions inside your home or premises. Your alarm system, when armed, will notify us when the sensors/motion detectors are activated. Perimeter protection is suitable if you wish to have your alarm system on when you are in your home or premises, as well as when you are away.
The advantage of Perimeter Protection is the intruder is outside when the alarm activates, it also gives freedom of movement within the premises.
Motion Detector Protection:
A motion detector alarm system secures zones/areas within your home or premises i.e. motion detectors are placed in strategic locations in your home or premises e.g. the hallway, living area, landing etc. In addition, sensors are placed on your external doors. Your alarm system, when on, will notify us when the sensors/motion detectors are activated. Motion detector protection is suitable if you wish to have your alarm system on when you are in your home or premises as well as when you are away. However if you wish to have this alarm system on while at home, you should discuss your requirements to ensure you are not constrained by any elements of the motion detector protection.
